Thomas J. O'Keefe, MD
Dr. O’Keefe is a graduate of the Northwestern University School of Medicine who completed his orthopaedic residency at the University of Michigan. He is a board certified surgeon who specializes in adult reconstructive surgery of the hip and knee and has extensive experience with minimally invasive techniques. Dr. O’Keefe has performed over 18,000 surgical procedures in his career, with 2000 in the last five years.
Dr. O’Keefe maintains an ongoing interest in clinical research and has authored numerous publications about hip and knee reconstructive surgery. He also enjoys lecturing not only in the United States but also internationally.
Previously, Dr. O’Keefe has served locally on the board of Huron Valley Physicians Association. Additionally, he is a past board member and president of the Michigan Orthopaedic Society. He has received recognition as a “Top Doctor” by Detroit Hour Magazine in 2009 and 2011, an honor given by his peers.
